Elon Musk Projects AI Will Drive 99% of SpaceX Value

CEO Elon Musk announced that artificial intelligence is projected to account for 99% of the value of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. within four to five years. In a Form S-1 filing, the company estimated its total addressable market in the AI industry at $26.5 trillion out of a total $28.5 trillion opportunity.
Financial data from the second quarter shows SpaceX AI revenue grew 247.5% year-over-year to $2.6 billion. This figure represents nearly 33% of the company's $7.8 billion total revenue for the period. Musk projected that total company revenue could reach $1 trillion by 2030.
Despite the rapid growth, the company faces risks from high competition and a heavy reliance on a single customer. Analysts believe this customer is Anthropic, which accounted for 19.5% of SpaceX's AI revenue during the second quarter.
