Iranian Lawmaker Threatens to Render Israel Uninhabitable
Ebrahim Azizi, head of Iran's parliamentary security committee, threatened to destroy critical Israeli infrastructure following a potential miscalculation regarding Iranian national security.
The head of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ebrahim Azizi, threatened on Saturday to render Israel uninhabitable in less than an hour. Posting in English, Hebrew, and Persian on X, Azizi warned that a "single miscalculation" concerning Iranian national security and interests could trigger such a catastrophic outcome.
To support the threat, Azizi published a map identifying critical Israeli infrastructure as potential targets. The map specifically highlighted desalination plants, power stations, oil refineries, and fuel storage facilities. Other marked targets included the Dimona nuclear research center, the Eilat-Ashkelon oil pipeline, and various bridges and interchanges across Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Jerusalem.
