The Godrej Industries Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Haryana to invest approximately ₹20,000 crore in the state. Signed in the presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the agreement aims to create around 40,000 jobs through expanded real estate and infrastructure projects.
Godrej Properties Ltd will lead the expansion, planning to invest ₹16,000 crore by FY28. This will bring the company's total state investment to ₹27,000 crore across 18 projects located in Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat, and Kurukshetra. Additionally, Godrej Ventures will invest ₹3,500 crore in Grade A+ office infrastructure in Gurugram, a move expected to generate over 30,000 direct and indirect jobs.
This new commitment builds upon an existing ₹12,000 crore investment in the state. The group also maintains a presence in Haryana through Godrej Capital and Godrej Consumer Products, while continuing annual contributions to infrastructure and CSR initiatives in Karnal and Kurukshetra.
