Sazerac Company Acquires Au Vodka for Over $400 Million

Sazerac Company, the U.S. distiller responsible for Southern Comfort and Buzzballz, acquired UK-based spirits maker Au Vodka for more than £300 million ($404 million). The company announced the completion of the transaction on September 14, 2026, as part of a strategy to bolster its overseas portfolio.

Founded in 2015 in Swansea, Wales, by Charlie Morgan and Jackson Quinn, Au Vodka is known for its gold-colored bottles and ready-to-drink flavors such as Miami Mango and Bubblegum.
