Six construction technology startups raised a combined $234 million to advance AI, robotics, and procurement platforms for industrial use.

Six construction technology startups secured a combined $234 million in funding rounds to develop AI, robotics, and specialized procurement platforms. TerraFirma led the group by raising $115 million, which includes a $100 million Series A round led by Kleiner Perkins to advance its semi-autonomous heavy machinery platform.

Two new companies entered the market during this period. Arrakis emerged from stealth with $37.5 million in Seed and Series A funding from Blossom Capital and Accel to help industrial firms integrate AI agents. Gritt launched with $32.4 million, led by Obvious Ventures, to provide robotic arm retrofits for existing equipment.

Other funding rounds included Monumental, which raised $32 million in a Series B round led by Khosla Ventures to expand its robotic brick-laying systems. Buildforce obtained $10 million in Series A funding from Saepio Capital for its electrician staffing platform, and SubBase raised $7 million in a Series A round led by FINTOP to scale its material procurement platform.
