Azerbaijan Marks State Sovereignty Day with Patriotic Tributes

Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, marked State Sovereignty Day on September 20 by sharing commemorative footage on his official social media accounts. In his posts, he praised the national army and issued patriotic declarations asserting that "Garabagh is Azerbaijan."

The Embassy of Türkiye in Azerbaijan joined the commemorations by issuing a formal congratulatory message via its X account. The diplomatic mission honored those who died for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan and offered prayers for the recovery of military veterans.
