Hasbro and Viking Holdings Report Strong Stock Growth

Hasbro and Viking Holdings saw stock prices rise over 50% this year driven by digital gaming success and high cruise demand.

Shares of Hasbro and Viking Holdings have surged over the past year, with growth exceeding 50% and nearly 60% respectively. Hasbro's performance is led by its Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming segment, where Magic: The Gathering generated more than $600 million in third-quarter revenue with a 49% operating margin. To sustain this momentum, the company opened a digital games studio in Montreal and transitioned to an asset-light licensing model.

Viking Holdings is seeing high demand from retirees, selling 53% of its 2027 capacity at prices 10% higher than 2026. The cruise operator expanded its fleet with new river ships for the Rhine and Egypt, alongside a second hydrogen-powered ocean ship.

Both companies have focused on returning value to shareholders through share repurchase programs. Hasbro increased its full-year outlook and doubled its stock buyback target, while Viking authorized a $1 billion share repurchase.
