Cathie Wood Predicts Bitcoin Will Reach $1.5 Million by 2030

Wood identifies institutional adoption and a favorable regulatory environment in the United States as the primary drivers for this growth. She specifically points to the role of artificial intelligence agents, suggesting they could utilize Bitcoin for micro-payments because the currency is divisible into satoshis.

Despite this optimistic outlook, the path to this target faces legislative hurdles. The United States Senate recently failed to pass the Clarity Act, and legislation for a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve has potentially stalled. Critics also highlight significant risks, noting that Bitcoin has declined 33% over the last 12 months and would require exceptionally high annual returns to meet Wood's prediction.
