Anti-Government Billboard Truck Returns to Melbourne Streets

An anti-government billboard truck targeting Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan returned to the streets of Melbourne on July 19. The vehicle, part of the 'Ditch the Witch' campaign, had been ordered off the road on July 8 after police issued a defect notice concerning its LED screens.

Franco Puleo, the owner of the Gotham City adult establishment and organizer of the campaign, saw the truck return after VicRoads conducted an inspection and deemed the vehicle roadworthy. Following this determination, police dropped further action against the truck. Puleo criticized the government, asserting that there was nothing wrong with the truck and accusing officials of targeting small businesses rather than focusing on state improvements.
