Garmin revealed the Enduro 4 smartwatch featuring Power Sapphire solar technology and a battery life that can extend up to 90 days.
Garmin Ltd. announced the Enduro 4, a high-end smartwatch engineered for extreme battery longevity. The device utilizes Power Sapphire technology, which integrates solar cells into a sapphire crystal cover to extend operational time.
Under normal usage, the battery lasts up to 36 days, but solar charging can extend that duration to 90 days. In expedition or power saver modes, the watch can potentially operate indefinitely provided there is sufficient daylight. The hardware includes a 1.4-inch MiP display, a titanium bezel, and 64 GB of internal storage.
The wearable is equipped with health sensors for ECG, skin temperature, heart rate, and SpO2, alongside an NFC chip for Garmin Pay. It supports over 100 activity profiles to cater to extreme athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. The Enduro 4 is scheduled for release on October 9, 2026, with a retail price of $899.99.
