Bahrain Condemns Iranian Drone Attacks on United Arab Emirates
Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh of Bahrain condemned Iranian drone attacks on the UAE as a violation of international law and regional stability.
The Chairman of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, issued a formal message of solidarity to the United Arab Emirates following renewed drone attacks launched by Iran. In a communication sent to UAE Federal National Council Speaker Saqr Ghobash, Al Saleh condemned the strikes as a violation of UAE sovereignty and international law, specifically citing the UN Charter and Security Council Resolution 2817.
Al Saleh described the attacks as a dangerous escalation that threatens the stability of the region. He praised the UAE Armed Forces and their air defense systems for successfully intercepting the drones and preventing further damage.
To prevent future aggression, Al Saleh called upon the United Nations Security Council to implement necessary measures to compel Iran to cease its hostile actions and ensure a regional de-escalation.
