Leaked iPhone 18e Specs Reveal 2nm Chip and 60Hz Display

Apple is developing the iPhone 18e, a budget-friendly smartphone expected to launch in spring 2027. Leaked specifications shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo indicate the device will be powered by the new 2nm A20 chip and feature a 6.12-inch OLED display.

The device is rumored to include 9GB of RAM, a Dynamic Island, and Apple's C2 modem. Camera specifications suggest a single 48-megapixel rear lens and a front-facing camera that may be upgraded to 24 megapixels. The iPhone 18e may debut alongside the standard iPhone 18 and a super-thin iPhone Air 2.

While the A20 chip offers a performance increase, the 60Hz refresh rate of the display is a point of contention, as it lacks the adaptive 120Hz screens found in other non-Pro models. The phone is expected to enter the Indian market around March or April 2027 with a predicted price under Rs 1 lakh.
