Shenzhen Longsys Electronics Seeks $801 Million Hong Kong IPO

Shenzhen Longsys Electronics plans to raise up to $801 million in a Hong Kong IPO to fund research and development in advanced memory technologies.

Shenzhen Longsys Electronics, a Chinese memory-chipmaker, is seeking to raise up to HK$6.28 billion ($801 million) through an initial public offering in Hong Kong. The company plans to offer approximately 26 million shares at a maximum price of HK$240.60 per share, with the potential for the total offering to reach $1.06 billion through upsize options.

Longsys intends to use the capital to fund research and development in chip design and advanced memory technologies. The move follows a period of rapid financial growth; the company reported that its first-half 2026 revenue doubled to 24.1 billion yuan, while net profit increased more than 700-fold to 10.6 billion yuan.

Several major firms have joined the offering as cornerstone investors, including Lenovo, Transsion International Ltd., CITIC Securities Asset Management (HK) Limited, and Lens Technology (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. This listing aligns with a broader trend of Chinese AI supply chain companies, such as CXMT Corp. and Zhongji Innolight Co., seeking capital in the Hong Kong market.
