Google Expands Gemini Spark AI Assistant to Paid Subscribers

Google is expanding access to Gemini Spark, an agentic AI assistant first introduced at the I/O developer conference. The tool is now available to Google AI Pro subscribers in the United States for $20 per month, while Google AI Ultra subscribers globally can access it for monthly fees between $100 and $200.

Powered by Gemini 3.5 and integrated into Google Workspace, Spark automates administrative workflows. Users can utilize the assistant to prioritize daily schedules by analyzing emails and calendars, draft responses to specific contacts, summarize complex email threads, and convert meeting notes into formal reports within Google Docs.

The rollout excludes all free-tier users. Additionally, the service is currently unavailable in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Nigeria, and the European Economic Area.
