Torsion Projects Construction Firm Enters Administration
Torsion Projects Limited ceased trading and entered administration after insurmountable financial challenges led to the redundancy of 54 employees.
Torsion Projects Limited, a Leeds-based construction firm specializing in care home schemes, has ceased trading and entered administration. The company collapsed due to sustained cashflow pressure and insurmountable financial challenges following the termination of multiple contracts.
James Clark and Rick Harrison of Interpath were appointed as joint administrators to wind down the business. All 54 employees have been made redundant, and all active sites were returned to developers or funders before the administrators took over. Clark stated that despite efforts by directors to find fresh investment, there was little option but to begin the winding down process.
The collapse follows the administration of Torsion Construction Limited in July. While Torsion Projects and Torsion Construction have failed, Torsion Developments Limited and Torsion Care Limited, both part of the wider Torsion Group, remain operational.
