Andrew Woosnam Faces Creditors Over £3 Million Debt

Recruitment businessman Andrew Woosnam faces insolvency proceedings and creditor claims exceeding £3 million following the collapse of two of his companies.

Recruitment businessman Andrew Woosnam is being pursued by creditors for more than £3 million following the collapse of two of his companies. The financial decline began in September 2025 when his firm, Premier Group Recruitment, entered administration owing £2.9 million, including £647,000 to HM Revenue and Customs.

Woosnam attempted to maintain operations by acquiring the assets of the failed firm through a new company, PGGBR Ltd, via a pre-pack administration agreement. Although he promised £610,000 in payments, the funds never materialized. PGGBR Ltd subsequently accrued an additional £400,000 debt to HMRC before entering liquidation in September 2026.

In July 2026, a third recruitment brand, Xpertis Talent, was established. While the company is legally owned by an individual based in Thailand and Woosnam is not a registered shareholder, the venture employs former staff from his previous firms and uses marketing materials claiming awards won by the original Premier Group.

Insolvency professionals are now targeting Woosnam's £2.2 million property in Berkshire to recover debts, which include over £1 million owed to the UK taxpayer.
