Jio Platforms Attracts $20 Billion in IPO Bids

Jio Platforms has received over $20 billion in bids for an initial public offering targeting a valuation of $108 billion.

Jio Platforms Ltd has attracted more than $20 billion in bids for its initial public offering, which is positioned to potentially become the largest IPO in the history of India. The company is currently targeting a valuation of up to 10.3 trillion rupees, or approximately $108 billion, marking a decrease from earlier expectations that reached $170 billion.

Managing Director Akash Ambani led the fundraising efforts through a series of investor meetings in New York, London, and Hong Kong. During these discussions, Ambani focused on the company's valuation and the monetization strategies for its digital services.

Global investment firms including Fidelity, Allianz, and Capital Group have indicated interest in the offering. The company expects to determine a final list of anchor investors in the coming days as the process continues.
