easyJet Portugal Crew Vote for October and December Strikes

easyJet crew members in Portugal voted on September 17 to launch two series of strikes scheduled for October 2–6 and December 19–23. The decision followed an emergency general meeting where cabin crew reviewed their current working conditions.

Approximately 500 scheduled flights from bases in Porto, Lisbon, and Faro are expected to be affected during the October strike window. The impact of the December strikes is projected to be significantly higher because of the surge in flight demand during the Christmas holiday season.

The SNPVAC union previously stated that all options were under consideration leading up to the vote. Minimum service levels for the strike periods have not yet been negotiated.
