Elon Musk Criticizes Traditional Philanthropy and Mackenzie Scott

Elon Musk characterized traditional philanthropy as "bullshit" and argued that many charitable organizations are "net negative" for the world. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO specifically targeted philanthropist Mackenzie Scott, claiming her donations are "making the world a worse place."

Musk maintains that his for-profit ventures, including X, SpaceX, and Tesla, serve as his primary contributions to humanity. This stance follows his previous efforts to lead the near-demolition of a United States aid agency. Musk's views align with those of crypto executive Road Dogg, who also described many charities as net negatives.
