SAP Acquires TechWolf to Enhance AI Workforce Planning

SAP agreed to acquire Belgian workforce data firm TechWolf to integrate skills-mapping capabilities into its HR software for AI-driven reorganization.

SAP agreed to acquire TechWolf, a Belgian workforce data analysis firm, for an undisclosed sum to integrate skills-mapping and task-analysis capabilities into its HR software. The German software company intends to use TechWolf as the core of its tools for hiring, retraining, and reorganization planning, helping clients restructure their workforces around artificial intelligence.

Manoj Swaminathan, head of SAP's autonomous software division, stated that the integration of TechWolf's data would improve SAP's AI assistant. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approval.

TechWolf will remain an independent entity under CEO Andreas De Neve. The company will maintain its headquarters in Ghent and continue to serve customers outside of the SAP ecosystem.
