US, Azerbaijan, and Armenia Launch TRIPP Transit Project

The United States, Azerbaijan, and Armenia established trilateral working groups to implement the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity multimodal transit project.

The United States Department of State, along with the governments of Azerbaijan and Armenia, launched trilateral technical working groups on November 6 to implement the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP). This multimodal transit project seeks to expand economic cooperation, develop regional transport connectivity, and strengthen long-term stability in the region.

The initiative follows the Peace Summit Declaration brokered by President Donald Trump on August 8, 2025. The first phase of the project establishes two specialized working groups dedicated to electricity transmission and transportation. These groups are tasked with resolving complex technical issues and integrating the new route with existing regional infrastructure.

The launch meeting featured U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Brendan Hanrahan, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, and Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.
