Nvidia Corporation revealed a 9.3 percent stake in Nebius Group as part of a $2 billion investment to accelerate global AI infrastructure deployment.
Nvidia Corporation disclosed a 9.3 percent stake in Nebius Group, holding approximately 22.26 million shares of the Amsterdam-based AI cloud infrastructure company. This move follows a previously announced $2 billion investment by the chipmaker intended to accelerate the expansion of global AI infrastructure.
The partnership involves direct collaboration on fleet management, inference, AI factory design, and infrastructure deployment. Nebius, a spinoff from Yandex operating in the neocloud sector, intends to establish over 5 gigawatts of computing capacity by 2030. Following the disclosure, Nebius shares rose between 3 percent and 7 percent in after-hours and premarket trading.
Nebius has also secured a separate long-term agreement with Meta to spend up to $27 billion on its AI infrastructure, further signaling the company's growth in the specialized cloud sector.
