Walmart Launches Flash Price Tag Feature for Store Navigation
Walmart introduced a mobile app feature that flashes digital shelf tags to help customers locate specific products in select stores.
Walmart launched a new mobile application feature called Flash Price Tag to assist customers in locating specific items within its stores. When a shopper searches for a product and selects the flash option, the corresponding digital price tag on the store shelf flashes a light to signal the item's exact location.
The feature is currently limited to select locations that have installed newer digital self-labels. These digital tags allow the company to update prices and promotions electronically, eliminating the requirement for employees to manually replace paper tags.
