Azerbaijan Leaders Send Diplomatic Messages to Trinidad and Northern Cyprus

Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, sent a congratulatory letter to President Christine Carla Kangaloo of Trinidad and Tobago to mark the nation's Independence Day. In the message, Aliyev expressed his belief that relations between the two countries would continue to develop through friendship and cooperation.

Simultaneously, Azerbaijan responded to a maritime tragedy in Northern Cyprus. President Aliyev sent a letter of condolence to Tufan Erhürman, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, stating he was deeply shocked by the loss of life following a boat capsizing near Kyrenia. He extended sympathies to the victims' families and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

Prime Minister Ali Asadov further reinforced this diplomatic support by sending his own letter of condolences to Ünal Üstel, the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Asadov expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased and the people of Northern Cyprus following the ship accident.
