Peacock Launches Membership Rewards Program to Reduce Churn
NBCUniversal launched a beta rewards program for Peacock subscribers to increase loyalty and revenue through partner offers and tiered membership perks.
NBCUniversal has launched a beta test for a new membership rewards program for its Peacock streaming service. Available to a randomly selected group of Premium and Premium Plus subscribers, the initiative aims to reduce subscriber churn and generate incremental revenue through marketing partnerships.
The program categorizes participants into three tiers based on subscription tenure: Gold for those subscribed between three months and one year, Platinum for one to three years, and Diamond for those with over three years of tenure. Initial rewards include discounts at the NBCU and Bravo shops, a complimentary one-year Instacart+ membership, and a Pizza Hut offer unlocked after streaming three movies.
NBCUniversal plans to expand the program to include early access to live events and perks at Universal Parks. The move follows Peacock's first quarterly profit in the second quarter of 2026, with the service currently maintaining a subscriber base of 48 million.
