Andhra Pradesh Launches Rs 11,085 Crore Palle Panduga 3.0

N Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will launch the Palle Panduga 3.0 rural development program on September 29 in Udayagiri, Nellore district. The initiative involves a total expenditure of Rs 11,085 crore, funded by the state government (Rs 5,694 crore) and the central government (Rs 5,391 crore), with additional support from NABARD, the Global Horticulture Hub, and SASKI.
The program focuses on expanding rural infrastructure and agricultural support. Key projects include the construction of 6,000 km of cement concrete roads at a cost of Rs 2,700 crore and 9,500 km of bitumen roads costing Rs 7,550 crore. The plan also allocates Rs 300 crore for the creation of 22,000 mini Gokulams, or cattle sheds, for dairy farmers.
Other planned developments include horticultural plantations across 50,000 acres, 1,000 km of magic drains, and the construction of gram panchayat buildings and bus shelters. The Panchayat and Rural Development Department is responsible for overseeing the implementation of these works.
