Abakkus Asset Manager Files for IPO and Launches Fokkus
Abakkus Asset Manager filed for an initial public offering and received regulatory approval to launch a specialized investment fund brand called Fokkus.
Abakkus Asset Manager filed a draft red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India for an initial public offering. The IPO consists of an offer-for-sale of up to 15 million equity shares, representing a 10 percent stake in the company, to be sold by promoter Abakkus Expert Professionals LLP.
Led by Sunil Singhania, the firm manages average assets exceeding 40,000 crore across mutual funds and private equity. The company reported strong financial growth for FY26, with total income reaching approximately 796 crore, a 32 percent increase over the previous year, and profits rising 34 percent to approximately 327 crore.
Concurrent with the IPO filing, the firm received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India to enter the specialized investment fund space. This new venture will operate under the brand name Fokkus.
