Intuitive Machines Shares Jump 10% on Lunar Backlog Growth

Intuitive Machines shares rose over 10% after the company reported a $1.8 billion backlog and detailed plans for a lunar satellite constellation by 2028.

Intuitive Machines shares increased by more than 10% on Friday following the release of its second-quarter financial results. The company reported revenue of approximately $206.2 million and a net loss of $0.29 per share, both of which fell short of Wall Street estimates.

Despite the quarterly miss, investors reacted positively to the company's long-term growth indicators. The company reported that its backlog grew to $1.8 billion by the end of the second quarter, a significant increase from the $300 million reported at the end of 2025.

Intuitive Machines reaffirmed its full-year revenue guidance between $900 million and $1 billion and expects to achieve positive non-GAAP EBITDA for the year. To support future sales growth, the company detailed plans to have its full lunar satellite constellation network deployed by 2028.
