Central Elections Committee and Employment Service Launch Election Staffing Drive

The Central Elections Committee and the Employment Service announced a joint initiative on July 27 to recruit thousands of personnel for the elections scheduled for October 27. Recruitment begins next week for a variety of roles, including technical support, logistics, and polling site staff.

To manage the hiring process, the two agencies will establish a jointly managed recruitment site. The initiative aims to recruit from all population segments, with a specific emphasis on individuals with disabilities, those injured in conflicts, and people displaced by wars with Iran and Hezbollah.

Acting Director General Din Livne stated the agencies are working to ensure polling stations are staffed with professional personnel so citizens can vote in a reliable manner. Director General Inbal Mashash noted that a sound democratic process relies on broad participation from all parts of society, adding that the Employment Service will use its nationwide presence to identify suitable workers.
