iPhone 18 Pro Users Report Display Lines and Face ID Failures

Apple is facing reports of hardware malfunctions affecting the newly released iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Since the devices became available for purchase on September 18, users on social media platforms including X and Reddit have documented the appearance of vertical green, pink, and red lines across their screens.

While some customers claim the company has replaced affected devices, other observers have questioned the authenticity of some reports, suggesting certain images may be digitally altered. Some users have attributed the display faults to Samsung Display, the supplier of the LTPO+ OLED panels used in these models, though no official evidence has confirmed this connection.

In addition to the screen issues, some users report Face ID malfunctions characterized by system freezes and messages stating "Face ID not available." Apple has not officially commented on the display reports or the Face ID failures.
