Samsung Teases AI-Powered Galaxy Watch Lineup for July 22

Samsung Electronics teased the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2, highlighting AI-driven health monitoring ahead of its Unpacked event in London.

Samsung Electronics teased its next-generation Galaxy Watch lineup as AI-powered health companions ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22. The company plans to unveil the devices in London, United Kingdom, where the new wearables will be positioned to provide personalized, real-time health insights and continuous background monitoring to help users proactively manage their wellness.

Confirmed features include Vitals—which tracks blood oxygen, heart rate, respiratory rate, heart rate variability, and skin temperature—alongside a personalized health coach and a Heart Health Score. To support these capabilities, Samsung stated the devices feature all-new internal components and enhanced battery life to ensure greater tracking accuracy over longer monitoring periods.

While official specifications remain under wraps, leaks suggest the 2026 lineup will consist of a base Galaxy Watch 9 and a Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The Ultra 2 model is expected to feature a larger battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite chip.
