Adobe Launches Unified Creative Plugin for ChatGPT

Adobe launched a unified plugin for ChatGPT that integrates over 70 creative and productivity tools into a single interactive experience.

Adobe Inc. launched a unified plugin for ChatGPT on August 6, 2026, consolidating its previously separate connectors into a single tool. The plugin integrates more than 70 tools from the company's creative and productivity suites, including Photoshop, Firefly, Premiere, Acrobat, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Stock.

Users can activate the plugin by typing '@Adobe' in a prompt to perform batch photo edits, create social media highlight reels from long-form video, and transform spreadsheets into formatted PDFs. These capabilities are available across ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work, and Codex. While the plugin allows guest access, Adobe recommends signing into a Creative Cloud account to unlock full file access and generative capabilities.

This release is part of a broader strategy to embed Adobe tools across various AI platforms. The company has already activated integrations for Microsoft Copilot and expects to launch similar tools for Slack and Gemini later in the month. Deepti Pradeep, the product lead for the project, stated that the goal is to provide an experience that adds value to the workflows creators wish to complete.
