Apple Launches Gym Strength Training for Fitness Plus
Apple released Gym Strength, a personalized strength training experience for Fitness Plus featuring adaptive four-week workout plans and a library of 350 exercises.
Apple launched Gym Strength, a personalized strength training experience for Apple Fitness+ currently available in beta for iOS 27.3 and iPadOS 27.3. The service provides progressive four-week workout plans that adapt based on a user's logged weights and repetitions.
Users can customize their plans according to their specific goals, schedules, and available equipment. The feature includes a library of over 350 exercises supporting more than 30 types of equipment, such as barbells, kettlebells, and dumbbells. While dumbbells are the minimum equipment requirement, an Apple Watch running watchOS 27.3 is optional for health tracking and logging.
The experience includes video demonstrations from trainers and an optional Apple Intelligence-powered tool called Training Note, which offers workout previews and explanations of progression. Gym Strength is included in the standard Fitness+ subscription, priced at $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year in the United States.
