Poco Launches F9 Series with Bose Audio and 200MP Cameras
Poco released the F9 Ultra and F9 Pro smartphones featuring Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips, high-refresh displays, and specialized Bose audio systems.
Poco launched its flagship F9 series on September 1, 2026, introducing the F9 Ultra and F9 Pro smartphones. Both models feature a 200-megapixel primary camera and an AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate, marking the first time the brand has utilized a 200-megapixel sensor.
The F9 Ultra is positioned as a high-end gaming device with a 6.9-inch OLED display reaching 10,000 nits peak brightness and an 8,050mAh battery. It features a Bose-branded 2.1-channel audio system with a dedicated subwoofer that includes a white LED ring for notifications. The F9 Pro serves as a more affordable option, equipped with a 6.59-inch display, a 6,330mAh battery, and a dual-speaker system.
Both devices run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform and include a VisionBoost D8 co-processor for gaming. To reduce costs, the F9 Pro uses a V Series variant of the chip featuring a two-slice GPU architecture. The F9 Ultra is priced at $799 (€1,099.90) and the F9 Pro starts at $699 (€899.90), with early-bird discounts available for both models.
