Blockmate Ventures Acquires First NVIDIA B200 AI Compute Node
Blockmate Ventures Inc. agreed to purchase an NVIDIA B200 AI compute node from Scannit Inc. to transition into an owner-operator of AI infrastructure.
Blockmate Ventures Inc. entered a binding agreement on October 27, 2026, to acquire its first NVIDIA B200 AI compute node from Scannit Inc. for approximately US$635,000. The turnkey system, which features eight GPUs, marks the company's transition from a venture builder to an owner-operator of AI infrastructure.
Under the terms of the deal, Blockmate will own the hardware while Scannit manages the hosting, operations, and sales from a U.S. data center. Blockmate is expected to receive the majority of the gross revenue generated by the node over an initial 36-month management term. Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, with commercial availability expected within one week of installation.
Company leadership describes the move as a deliberate test to validate economics and collect data on utilization and pricing before scaling. This acquisition is part of a broader vertically integrated strategy that includes a data center development in Wyoming and a partial ownership stake in Hivello. The purchase will be funded through existing cash and a proposed secured loan from Carosa Corporation B.V.
