NVIDIA Selects Jacobs to Deploy AI Data Center Digital Twin
Jacobs will implement an NVIDIA Omniverse-based digital twin to simulate and monitor a large-scale AI research facility in the United States.
Jacobs entered a three-year software-as-a-service agreement with NVIDIA to deploy a Data Center Digital Twin for a large-scale artificial intelligence research and development facility in the United States. The system uses NVIDIA Omniverse libraries to create a real-time environment for simulating scenarios and monitoring facility performance.
The platform integrates engineering models, operational technology, and live data to manage energy forecasting, dynamic power load balancing, predictive maintenance, and liquid coolant leak detection. Jacobs is developing the system into an operating system for AI facilities, utilizing AI agents to analyze data, predict conditions, and recommend actions.
This deployment follows previous high-performance computing projects delivered by Jacobs for Hut 8 in the United States, Start Campus in Portugal, and PsiQuantum in Australia. Amer Battikhi, Executive Vice President of Jacobs, stated that as digital infrastructure scales, operators require smarter ways to optimize performance and manage energy demand while improving resiliency.
