Tata Consumer Products Net Profit Rises 29% in First Quarter

Tata Consumer Products reported a 29% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹427 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026.

Tata Consumer Products reported a 29% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹427 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, up from ₹332 crore in the previous year. Revenue for the period rose 12% to ₹5,349 crore, while EBITDA grew 19% to ₹730 crore.

The company's India-branded business saw 13% underlying volume growth, driven by high-performing growth segments. Tata Sampann recorded 58% revenue growth, while ready-to-drink beverages grew 41% and coffee increased by 24%. Tata Starbucks also saw an 11% growth. Conversely, tea revenue in India fell 4% as the company passed lower costs to consumers.

International results were mixed. The US business grew 7% in constant currency terms, but the UK business declined 2% due to an intense summer that slowed black tea consumption. Despite the profit increase, the company's stock fell approximately 1.7% following the announcement. Sunil D'Souza, the Managing Director and CEO, attributed the results to volume growth and a focus on execution and innovation.
