The Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, Saqr Ghobash, condemned recent attacks by the Houthi group targeting civilians and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia. In a formal message to the Speaker of the Shura Council of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Ghobash characterized the strikes as a violation of Saudi sovereignty and a direct threat to the kingdom's security and stability.
Ghobash affirmed the United Arab Emirates' full solidarity and unwavering support for any measures Saudi Arabia implements to protect its population and maintain regional stability. He concluded his message by expressing condolences to the victims of the attacks and wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
