Western Union and Publix Renew Two-Decade Partnership
Western Union renewed its partnership with Publix Super Markets to continue providing money transfer and bill payment services across the Southeast.
Western Union renewed its partnership agreement with Publix Super Markets on October 7, 2026, extending a business relationship that has spanned more than 20 years. The agreement ensures customers maintain access to money transfer, money order, and bill payment services at participating Publix locations throughout the Southeast.
Services remain available in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Kentucky. The renewal aligns with Publix's expansion into new markets, specifically Kentucky, where Western Union services will now be available to additional communities.
Publix currently operates 1,432 stores and is the largest employee-owned company in the United States. Western Union provides cross-border payment services connecting approximately 130 currencies globally. Jesse Mory, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Western Union, stated the company is "proud to extend our relationship with Publix."
