ASML Raises 2026 Revenue Outlook Amid AI Demand

ASML Holding N.V. increased its 2026 revenue forecast to up to EUR 45 billion, driven by strong demand for EUV lithography machines for AI chips.

ASML Holding N.V. raised its 2026 revenue outlook to between EUR 43 billion and EUR 45 billion as chipmakers expand capacity for advanced logic and memory. The company reported second-quarter revenue of EUR 9.3 billion, a 21.3% year-over-year increase, with net income reaching EUR 2.9 billion.

Growth is driven by the expansion of artificial intelligence and bottlenecks in High Bandwidth Memory. ASML maintains a monopoly on extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography technology, which is essential for manufacturing sub-2nm semiconductors. The company expects EUV system sales to grow by more than 45% this year, while memory-related system sales are projected to increase by over 75%.

Major chipmakers including TSMC, Samsung Electronics, and Intel rely on this equipment. Intel is specifically utilizing ASML's High-NA system on its 18A process to produce Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

Despite the robust demand, the company faces risks from the semiconductor cycle and export restrictions on advanced equipment to China. China is expected to account for approximately 20% of 2026 sales. Other potential risks include the possibility of an AI bubble burst, though such an event is considered unlikely in the short term.
