Ukrainian Drones Strike Ozon Logistics Hub in Adygeysk
Ukrainian drones struck an Ozon distribution center in Adygeysk, Russia, causing a fire and disrupting logistics as part of a broader campaign against Russian e-commerce hubs.
A Ukrainian drone strike hit an Ozon distribution center in Adygeysk, Republic of Adygea, on November 4, 2026. The attack sparked a fire that caused a partial collapse of the facility's roof and forced the evacuation of all staff. Regional head Murat Kumpilov confirmed the blaze and noted that drone debris also damaged a private home and a gas pipeline in the village of Petrov. No casualties were reported.
Ozon, Russia's second-largest online marketplace, suspended deliveries from sellers and redirected shipments to other warehouses, though some orders will be cancelled. This incident marks the second time this specific facility has been targeted. The company previously estimated total losses of 30.1 billion roubles ($367 million) from drone attacks across 11 different sites, including facilities in Samara, Makhachkala, and St. Petersburg.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported intercepting 709 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions overnight. While Ukraine has not commented on the Adygeysk strike, Kyiv has previously accused Ozon and its competitor Wildberries of facilitating the movement of military equipment and dual-use components. The attack occurs amid escalating aerial warfare and ahead of US-mediated peace talks scheduled for November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi.
