Kentucky Pension Fund Increases Stakes in Three Public Companies

The Teachers Retirement System of The State of Kentucky expanded its holdings in Vita Coco, Benchmark Electronics, and Power Integrations during the first quarter.

The Teachers Retirement System of The State of Kentucky significantly expanded its equity positions in three companies during the first quarter of 2026, according to SEC filings. The pension fund increased its stake in Vita Coco Company, Inc. by 31.4%, reaching 37,519 shares valued at approximately $1.797 million.

The fund also aggressively boosted its holdings in electronics and semiconductor firms. It increased its position in Benchmark Electronics, Inc. by 278.1% to 34,135 shares worth $1.913 million and grew its stake in Power Integrations, Inc. by 180.9% to 37,011 shares valued at $1.895 million.

These investments occurred amid broader institutional buying from Wasatch Advisors LP and Wellington Management Group LLP. However, the institutional growth contrasted with activity from company insiders, who reported selling stock in all three firms throughout May and June 2026.
