Analysts Raise SpaceX Price Targets Over AI Infrastructure Plans
Bernstein and Deutsche Bank increased price targets for SpaceX, citing the company's plans to build massive terrestrial AI computing capacity by late 2027.
Analysts from Bernstein and Deutsche Bank have raised their price targets for Space Exploration Technologies Corp., identifying the company's terrestrial artificial intelligence infrastructure as a primary driver for future revenue. Bernstein increased its price target to $268, while Deutsche Bank raised its target to $250.
SpaceX aims to bring approximately 10 gigawatts of incremental computing capacity online by the end of next year. Deutsche Bank analysts suggest the company may secure a significant cost advantage, pricing its compute at roughly $35 billion per gigawatt, which is lower than the industry standard of $50 billion per gigawatt.
Market analysts indicate that SpaceX's ability to leverage a compute advantage for better inference and intelligence remains underappreciated. This optimistic outlook is reflected in broader Wall Street sentiment, with 33 of 43 analysts currently maintaining a buy or strong buy rating on the stock.
