OpenAI Plans $200 Billion Revenue by 2030 With Massive Infrastructure Deals
OpenAI is securing hundreds of billions of dollars in compute and hardware contracts to support projected revenue growth reaching $200 billion by 2030.
OpenAI internal documents project revenue growth exceeding $25 billion in 2026 and potentially reaching $200 billion by 2030. To facilitate this scale, the company has entered into several massive infrastructure agreements with major technology firms to secure necessary compute and hardware capacity.
Microsoft holds a 27% equity stake in the company and has contracted $250 billion in Azure services. Oracle has signed a compute deal worth $300 billion over five years starting in 2027, a commitment that represents more than half of the cloud provider's total backlog.
Further expanding its hardware footprint, the company signed an agreement with Broadcom to deploy 10 gigawatts of custom-designed AI accelerators between 2026 and 2029, at an estimated cost between $350 billion and $500 billion. OpenAI also maintains GPU deployment deals with Nvidia and AMD to support its operations.
