Qatar Condemns Iranian Military Attacks on Jordan

The Government of Qatar strongly condemned Iranian military attacks against the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, characterizing the assaults as flagrant violations of Jordan's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law.

In statements released between July 28 and July 29, 2026, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as a breach of the United Nations Charter. Qatari officials warned that the military actions represent a dangerous escalation that threatens regional stability and undermines diplomatic efforts to contain tensions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for an immediate and comprehensive cessation of all military operations and urged a return to dialogue and negotiations. Qatar reaffirmed its full solidarity with Jordan and supported all measures the kingdom takes to safeguard its national security.
