Indian and United States forces concluded the fifth edition of Exercise Tiger Triumph 2026 in Visakhapatnam, India, with a closing ceremony on November 6. The bilateral Tri-Service Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) exercise ran from October 31 to November 5, focusing on joint amphibious operations and interoperability.
Rear Admiral Vishal Bishnoi and Rear Admiral Joaquin J. Martinez de Pinillos attended the final ceremony. The program consisted of a Staff Exercise featuring operational planning and expert exchanges on medical operations and cyberspace, followed by a Tabletop Exercise to test those plans in a simulated environment.
Established in 2019, the exercise aims to strengthen bilateral defense cooperation and support security and stability across the Indo-Pacific region. Bishnoi stated that the exercise gives practical expression to the relationship between the two nations by combining complementary capabilities in demanding disaster response settings.
