Telangana Launches 12-Point Plan to Regularize Land Disputes

The Government of Telangana has launched a 12-point action plan to fast-track land regularization and resolve long-standing registration disputes across the state. As part of this initiative, the government established a high-level officials committee led by Chief Commissioner of Land Administration D.S. Lokesh Kumar to settle disputes regarding lands listed under Section 22A of the Registration Act.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy affirmed that these issues would be settled amicably. The broader plan includes the disposal of G.O. Ms. 118 applications for more than 9,700 families in L.B. Nagar within one month, a process announced by Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy.

Additional measures target the conversion of leasehold properties to freehold in Secunderabad and the resolution of Urban Land Ceiling lands and illegal layouts on government property. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka is leading discussions with MLAs to address stalled registrations and housing disputes within the Singareni Collieries Company Limited coal belt.
