The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates expressed full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic following a security operation to dismantle terrorist cells affiliated with Da'esh. In a statement released on July 10, 2026, the UAE commended the efficiency of Syrian security authorities in breaking apart the network.

Syrian security forces arrested several members and one senior leader of the group. The targeted cells were reportedly involved in a series of crimes, including robberies, illegal financing, and assassinations.

The UAE reaffirmed its categorical rejection of all forms of terrorism and extremism. The ministry emphasized that regional and international cooperation remains necessary to counter threats that seek to undermine the security and stability of sovereign states.
