HPE and Oracle Expand AI Infrastructure Partnership
Hewlett Packard Enterprise will deploy Juniper Networking across Oracle's global AI data centers to support high-bandwidth GPU clusters and AI superclusters.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise expanded its collaboration with Oracle to scale the latter's global AI infrastructure through the deployment of HPE Juniper Networking. The agreement focuses on integrating PTX and MX routing platforms alongside QFX and EX switching platforms across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure data centers and edge networks.
This infrastructure upgrade aims to meet the high bandwidth and low latency requirements essential for large GPU clusters and AI superclusters. To optimize performance, the two companies are developing intelligent telemetry tools to increase visibility into device and fabric behavior, which is intended to minimize negative impacts on GPU utilization.
As part of the financial arrangements for the multi-year deployment, HPE issued warrants to Oracle for the purchase of HPE common stock.
