Jordan Bardella to Address Reform UK Conference in Birmingham

President of France's National Rally party Jordan Bardella will address the Reform UK party conference in Birmingham next Friday. During the visit, Bardella is scheduled to hold a joint press conference with Reform UK leader Nigel Farage to discuss anti-immigration policies and future international cooperation.

The visit comes as Marine Le Pen prepares for a presidential bid in May, with Bardella proposed as her prime minister. While Bardella and Farage are aligned on sovereignty and immigration control, Le Pen and Farage have a history of conflict, including a 2014 dispute in which Farage accused Le Pen's party of antisemitism.

Separately, Nigel Farage is facing a reopened investigation by parliament's standards commissioner regarding the declaration of gifts, including a £5 million personal gift from Christopher Harborne.
